Valak, The conjuring 2 by HorrifyMe

NEW!!! Lucifera spends Christmas being transformed into the foul and evil demon Valak from the Conjuring 2.
Being a massive horror and gore fan, I naturally have a wish list of horror themed shoots I wish to shoot that is as long as your arm.
Thanks to Rick at HorrifyMe I got to achieve my most favourite horror villain of all time, Clive Barkers Pinhead. One of my most favourite photo shoots ever!!!
When I saw the trailer for the Conjuring 2, those teasing glimpses of the nun known as Valak really made me sit up in my seat.
I have had a fascination with nuns for a very long time ( no idea why ) this combined with the paranormal and the evil forces that lurk beneath the surface; I was dying to go and see it and it didn’t disappoint.
I wanted to become Valak for a horror themed shoot! I approached Rick with the idea. Initially he wasn’t so keen but after some nagging he eventually watched the film and admitted “the nun was cool”
So we got planning….
We discussed the scenes in the film we liked best. I wanted to do the one with the painting, where Valak creeps up on Lorraine Warren and we wanted to get in some shots with the crucifixes rotating on the wall.
I was fortunate to already own the nuns habit and a crucifix, but we wanted more props. A massive Thankyou to Danny Verbeek for sending the crucifixes over from Belgium, these were most appreciated and loved 🙂
Rick spent about an hour doing my make up, giving me a crooked witches nose. Nasty teeth, airbrushed my skin for that death like face. I was loving the look and I’m pretty sure I freaked some people out while in the car later that evening *sniggers*
This marks my 5th shoot with Horrify Me 🙂 I can hear you wondering where the other shoots are?….well keep checking back on that 😉
I am so absolutely thrilled with these photos, a massive Thankyou to Rick for being up for working with me again, for transforming me into evil and horrific creatures, Much love to my fellow model who helped bring the story to life and for the giggles. You guys are the best and I thank my lucky stars that I know such crazy sick people 😉
The film is based on the famous Enfield Hauntings that took place between 1977 and 79. Maurice Grosse and Guy Lyon Plairfair investigated alleged poltergeist activity happening in the home of the Hodgson family but centering mainly around 11 year old Janet. The haunting’s were widely reported in the British press at the time accompanied by some now infamous photos. Some observers claimed the haunting was a fake, while others claimed they had seen genuine paranormal activity.

Candid outtake with fellow model, always a scream…
