Cherry Bomb!!! Latex on Latex
Lucifera wearing shiny red latex by Bondinage, Ooh La Latex and Pandora Latex against a shiny red latex backdrop. Photo shoot with ANHPhotos.
It all started off when I purchased this red latex background, I really wanted to use it on a shoot where I wore latex against latex for that added punch!
I took this Cherry Red Latex along to a few shoots before I eventually found a photographer up for giving it a try.
One day I spotted some latex shots by ANH Photos and dropped him an email asking for a shoot. ANH Photos is based in Wales so the email went something like this “Yes, I would love to work with you, I’ll drop you an email when I am in your area” otherwise commonly known as don’t hold your breath.
Luckily for me he meant what he said and a year later he emailed me saying he would be in my area on these dates and did I have any free time. Naturally I said yes and we started planning out ideas.
ANH Photos likes to shoot corsets ( keep checking back for these ) we did some corset shots first and then moved on to the latex. I was thrilled, I had been holding on to this backdrop and a few latex outfits for some time, now I would finally get to show them off.
In these photos I am wearing a studded latex bra by Ooh La Latex ( This is my first and only item by them, the quality is very good though ) A Red and Black latex corset by my all time favourite Bondinage and some latex leggings by Pandora Latex. The latex backdrop was made by ASD Latex. All these designers can be found on ETSY.
ANH was very patient and willing to give this idea a try, he’d only shot latex once before but never a latex backdrop. it took a little while to figure out how to light the latex background, as well as the latex I was wearing.
We used a single light – a 70cm beauty dish and grid on the studio flash for maximum drama and contrast
One observation I have made is that it’s probably wise to pre hang the latex well before the shoot and don’t keep it folded in your suitcase like I did. You will notice the background looks bit creased in places, no amount of stretching it out on the day would lose those marks!
Let me know what you think of these 🙂
